Airworthiness Directives (ADs)

The aircraft owner or operator shall comply with Airworthiness Directives issued by the CAA or the aeronautics authority of the State of Design (SoD) of the aviation products, appliances and parts, and take all necessary actions thereto.

These transponder/ADC combinations are known to be installed on, but not limited to, the following aeroplanes: - ATR 42 and ATR 72 series (See exemption under ‘Required Action’). - Bombardier (formerly Canadair) CL-600-2A12 (601 Variant) and CL-600-2B16 (601-3A and 601-3R Variants). - Bombardier (formerly De Havilland Canada) DHC-8 series. - Dassault Aviation Mystere-Falcon 900 series. - Gulfstream G-IV. CAA-2009-08-003 2009/08/07 EASA 2009-0168 F28 Mark 0070 and Mark 0100 aeroplanes, all serial numbers, if an actuator Part Number (P/N) 9409122 or P/N 53-0013 is installed on one or both fuel fire shut-off valves.

CAA-2009-07-014 2009/08/03 FAA 2009-15-13 This AD applies to Honeywell International Inc. T5313B, T5317A, T5317A-1, T5317B, and T5317BCV turboshaft engines with combustion chamber housing (CCH), part numbers (P/Ns) 1-130-610-05, 1-130-610-12, and 1-130-610-17, installed. These engines are installed on, but not limited to, Bell 205 and 210 Series and Kaman K-1200 helicopters.

CAA-2009-07-012 2009/07/23 EASA 2009-0154-E CFM56-5B engine models equipped with Hydromechanical units HMU VIN 8061- 532 (P/N 1348M79P10), VIN 8061-535 (P/N 1348M79P13), VIN 8061-536 (P/N 1348M79P14), Serial Numbers (S/N) as identified within paragraph 1.A of CFM Service Bulletin CFM56-5B S/B 73-0238 Revision 1 and which have not been modified in accordance with CFM56-5A S/B 73-0208, CFM56-5B S/B 73-0239 or CFM56-5C S/B 73-0180. These engines are known to be installed on, but not limited to Airbus A318, A319, A320 and A321 series aeroplanes.

CAA-2009-07-009 2009/07/17 ANAC 2007-02-02R2(BRAZIL) This Airworthiness Directive (AD) applies to all Embraer ERJ 190 airplane models equipped with firewall hydraulic shutoff valve (FWSOV) part number (P/N) 975287-3 or 975287-5.
CAA-2009-07-008 2009/07/17 EASA 2009-0153 Airbus A330 aeroplanes, models -201, -202, -203, -223, -243, -301, -302, - 303, -321, -322, -323, -341, -342 and -343, all manufacturer serial numbers on which Airbus modification 49144 (install rudder fly by wire) has been embodied in production. Airbus A340 aeroplanes, models -311, -312, and -313, all manufacturer serial numbers on which Airbus modification 49144 has been embodied in production. Airbus A340 aeroplanes, models -541, -542, -642, -643, all manufacturer serial numbers.
