International Affairs Section

  1. To coordinate, arrange, participate in and facilitate affairs regarding civil aviation related organizations and international cooperation and receive foreign guests.
  2. To plan, draw-up and implement air transport agreements.
  3. To deal with cross-strait air transport affairs.

Research and Evaluation Section

  1. To review long-, medium- and short-term development plans.
  2. To compile, manage and review the annual government program.
  3. To review CAA’s training matters of the civil aviation personnel. 
  4. To implement R&D matters and to convene annual R&D meetings.
  5. To compile Civil Aviation White Paper and CAA pamphlets.
  6. To compile and publish Civil Aviation Bi-monthly Journal and CAA Annual Report.
  7. To implement the promotion of civil aviation quality service programs.
  8. To draft the civil aviation mobilization program and its related affairs.
  9. To compile administrative reports for the sessions of the Legislation Yuan.
  10. To manage the annual inspection of the Control Yuan.

Legal Section

  1. To review the regulatory practices of the Civil Aviation Act and regulations.
  2. To sort out and make use of the data and information about Civil Aviation Act and regulations.
  3. To handle CAA’s legal affairs.
  4. To handle the affairs regarding state compensation, administrative appeal and administrative litigation cases for CAA.
