The aircraft owner or operator shall comply with Airworthiness Directives issued by the CAA or the aeronautics authority of the State of Design (SoD) of the aviation products, appliances and parts, and take all necessary actions thereto.

This AD applies to The Boeing Company Model 777-200, -200LR, -300, -300ER, and 777F series airplanes, certificated in any category, Group 1 and Group 2 as identified in Boeing Alert Requirements Bulletin 777-28A0090 RB, dated March 30, 2021.

Subject
This AD requires installing new software in the fuel quantity processor unit, or replacing the FQPU with one that includes new software, depending on airplane configuration; doing a software version check; and doing a FQPU operational check, depending on airplane configuration, and also prohibits the installation of certain FQPUs on certain air planes.
