The aircraft owner or operator shall comply with Airworthiness Directives issued by the CAA or the aeronautics authority of the State of Design (SoD) of the aviation products, appliances and parts, and take all necessary actions thereto.

This AD requires repetitive operational checks of the leading edge outboard slats and applicable on-condition actions, and also requires revising (AFM) to prohibit flap retraction under icing conditions and revising the existing maintenance or inspection program, as applicable, to incorporate a new operation check.
